Comics book nerds keep freaking out about the books, forgetting that Marvel Publishing only makes up about 17% of the company’s profit. Disney didn’t buy Marvel because they make comic books, Disney bought Marvel because they make comic book MOVIES.

Realistically, Marvel has made some bad choices in the past of their own. As for creative direction is up to who is working on the movie (and as long as the suits don’t touch it), all this really involves is where the money is funneled afterwards.
