Venn Diagram of Mythical Creatures

Great idea, but the design could be better, wouldn't mind seeing this with some more creatures and a finer detailed design :P

I looked up Echidna. I got a picture of a hedgehog looking creature. It doesn't look very mythological to me.

Fun fact: This is actually an Euler diagram. Venn diagrams must show all possible intersections between all sets.

Echidnas are Australian and not mythological, you silly British man. Think of it as the Antipodean version of a hedgehog, only much bigger and much cooler.

Echidna is perhaps best known as being the mother of many monsters, particularily with her union with Typhon. Her name means she-viper. Echidna was killed in her sleep by the hundred-eyed creature Argus.
She was depicted as having the head of a beautiful nymph, but the body of a serpent. The lives of her and her children were only spared so that they could be sport for future heroes.

oh yea, you may know her children better. Ladon, Hydra, Chimaera , Orthus, Cerberus, Sphinx, and the Nemean Lion were all her children from Typhon.

Strictly speaking, this is not a Venn diagram, which represents _all_ possible intersections available within a set, but an Euler diagram.
By any name, though, the diagram is great.

A cockatrice is more of a chicken than an eagle, really (hence the 'cock' in the name).
