Sixteen-year old Daniel Pelletier is paralyzed from the waist down and has endured twenty-five surgeries during his recovery, but he doesn't let that stop him from being an accomplished skateboarder. Pelletier hopes to get corporate sponsorship with this video. More videos at the link.

The kid is clearly not paralyzed from the waist down from the waist down.
I feel sorry for him having some sort of illness, but that does not excuse him for being a liar.

No matter what all you naysayers think, this kid is doing something. At least he is moving his arse. Is he cheating? Who are we to say? Do we know him personally? No. Good luck to him!

If you watch it closely you can tell he moves the board around by placing his back foot on the very edge and just placing all his body weight on it.

while its cool he is active while paralyzed, all he does amounts to using his arms to keep balance, which is the difficult part of skateboarding. So yes, he is cheating.

Someone please tell the young man that the lead message should say he is paralyzed from the "waist" down, rather than from the "waste" down which makes no sense. Maybe he should concentrate on his school work as much as skateboarding.

seriously? you're going to criticize this kid for "cheating"/not being paralyzed enough/ spelling errors? He's been through 25 surgeries, I'm pretty damn sure that what he's doing is AWESOME.
