In the basement of an unremarkable office building in Los Angeles, there was a door that was sealed shut for about 40 years. What they found on the other side was an abandoned subway station (probably from the 20s) complete with art deco flourishes and other telltale period details. The door seemed to have been a entry point for transit maintenance worker ages ago.
Does anyone know the specifics of this story?
