Maybe bacon as an internet meme has jumped the shark, but it still makes all kinds of food taste fabulous!

Fine, the bacon lube and bacon bras are a little creepy. Maybe we’ve gone too far when we’re literally trying to screw bacon. But I steadfastly refuse to stop eating it in every form imaginable. So to celebrate the endless survival of bacon, I’ve compiled this handy chart of 100 Ways to Use a Strip of Bacon. I highly recommend the bacon-wrapped water chestnuts. We ate those at my wedding (using brown sugar instead of white sugar) and they were a big hit.

We’ll send the intervention team after we see you freebasing Beggin’ Strips. But actually, the bacon in South Africa and Namibia is “even more awesome (TM)” than American bacon and actually, Canadian bacon on Pizza is just 10 levels of rock on. I think the Southern African bacon win is due to the “free range everything” and the left overs of the German and Dutch influence in the area. Proscuitto in Italy has multiple grades, crudo is a little thick and meh, but the thin, properly salted, tender proscuitto is thing of wonder. FTLOB FTW. (For The Love Of Bacon).

Bacon wrapped ‘pickled watermelon rind’ is MUCH superior to the bacon wrapped pineapple they show.
