Doesn’t “invent/invention” imply being the first?

But that seems to be an “invention” of the submitter – no where in the actual article do they claim to have invented a bike that works on both land and water (which of course has been done many many many times before).

If that thing moves through water on it’s own power I’d be very surprised. Every pic shows the rider with feet horizontally level. To pedal through a revolution her feet will be in the water pushing against the forward momentum.
