Dwarf Mini Pony

By Jill Harness in Animals & Pets, Health on Aug 11, 2009 at 9:49 pm

This pony is an American miniature horse born with a dwarfism gene. For reference, there’s another picture of little Koda compared to a normal horse on the website. He goes to about the knees of the stallion. I couldn’t resist posing this image with the huge eyes though.

Koda is so small that he is often mistaken for a battery-operated soft toy.

Standing at 59cm tall, if Koda the horse wants an equal he has to turn to the vetinary cat for company.

“Torrent of Health problems” So instead of putting it out of its misery, they would rather parade it around and make money.

“So instead of putting it out of its misery,”
What is wrong with you? You dark hearted bastard. He looks like he is leading a good life.

    How’s this one?:

“That’s so cute, I wanna toss it down a flight of stairs to see what sort of squeaky sounds it makes”.

    A dwarf pony?
That’s like being born a vampire albino.
Talk about getting the short end of the stick!
    He-ho!

“He looks like he is leading a good life.”

The photo shows a pony with a pretty case of MANGE and surgery scars on its side.
Maybe you should learn to see what is in front of you.

“Dr Lynch has performed about £5,000 worth of leg surgery on Koda, but his total vet’s bill is expected to top £15,000.

The next step is extensive dentistry to remove protruding adult teeth that won’t fit in his little mouth.”

Swamp If you don’t know crap about horses why comment? You are all emotion and no intellect.

PS – Those cute puppy eyes are actually swelling and have a good possibility of detaching the retinas leaving the horse blind. Also the eyes popping out and getting gangrene is common.

It has some issues, lets just put a bolt in its head then. I hope you all die in a fire.

    @Swamp

Do I get to die in a fire too?

If he is suffering its more humane to end it than prolong it.

I hope I get to at least burn a little in the fire, smoke inhalation is lame.

What is so special about this? There is a whole breed of dwarf ponies, they are called Falabella. This is like parading a Chihuahua around.

Cute, but huge at 59 cm. My friend’s dwarf miniature horse Thumbelina is 17 inches (43 cm.) She is the smallest in the world.
