The more astronauts we had, the less likely their names stay in your memory. Twelve men walked on the moon, but few of us can name those whose mission number was higher than eleven. In today’s Lunchtime Quiz at mental_floss, you’ll be given names that could be a pro golfer, or could be an Apollo astronaut. Can you sort them out? 7 out of 12.
But then again I don’t know squat about golf. And I was only allowed by my parends to see the Apollo 11 moonlanding and the nr 13 when that one went wrong. Oh and the 15 because my dad wanted his son to see the first car on the moon. All the others were during my youthly bedtime in a black and white tv era when there wasn’t anything like vcr’s yet.

I don’t know squat about golf, either. That honestly helped, because I figured if a name was familiar to me, it was an astronaut.
