13 Bad Ass Prosthetics

Never mind that four of these are fictional, two are concepts, and two are in testing. The other five artificial body parts are quite amazing in the real world, like Cody McCasland’s sled that allows the 7-year-old to play hockey even though he has no legs. Link -via Gorilla Mask

Because of the title, I was hoping to see 13 bad looking prosthetic posteriors.

Whats taking so long with the cyborg parts, we need these people out there with augmentations to fight crime NOW!

i was expecting real amputees more than movie characters and what not. there are a lot of other inspiring, accomplished amputees in the world that could have easily made that list. also, putting an led in a prosthetic eye is super easy, really…an led requires little power and tiny ones are super cheap. small cameras are expensive and require both higher power levels and a device to record video or some way to transmit the data to a memory bank.

Total disappointment. I, too, was expecting to see prosthetics for posteriors that somehow didn’t work out.
