They did a fine job. When I was a kid in rural New Hampshire, we would accompany the Border Collies that belonged to the neighboring farm to get the cows in at night -- we opened the gates -- other than that, they didn't need us. Monkeys are on a par with dogs as far as intelligence goes, so why not?
