that was absolutely adorable. i bet everyone was having a blast, esp the bride and groom. it seems to have made a day that ppl make far too serious seem so much more pleasant. im a little confused about what the big deal is that they “cant dance.” are they supposed to try and be professional dancers? i think the point was to make it light-hearted, not to add the additional pressure of learning a dance routine. anyway, i thought it was awesome.

If that was “lame” and “uncool”, then I can only hope that when I get married my processional is considered “lame” and “uncool” as well. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with creativity, and I think it’s great that they wanted something other than the traditional walk down the aisle. Congrats and kudos to them!

Here is group of people having fun. Who cares if they can dance or not! Not everyone can be a professional dancer, and if they were what fun would it be? I think they were just having fun and enjoying a day of celebration. That is what a wedding is supposed to be, the celebration of joining two people. What better way than to dance down the isle to the person you love. I cannot believe all you people who are harping on them for enjoying the most special day in their lives! This is a neat idea. I hope they have a happy life together and look back on the fun they had on their wedding day.

MadMolecule, I decided that I should take a look at it after I posted – give it the benefit of the doubt.

I have no problem with them doing what they want, but, in my opinion, they should have just gotten married at City Hall if they were going to behave like drunken frat boys. It’s disrespectful to the tradition of weddings, and to the church they were in. They couldn’t wait for the reception?

As for being a buzzkill, they’re in a church. Sad to see they couldn’t act with respect.

Loved it, I was smiling through the whole thing. The music was perfect!

When my sister got married, the highlight was when the minister substituted the wedding march for “Stairway to Heaven” at the rehearsal.

There’s no hard and fast rule that says we have to adhere to certain types of formal, classical music at ceremonies. Especially with something as fun and happy as a wedding! It gives people who are planning weddings something to think about as they consider how to plan their day and their music.

what strikes me here is how ppl are upset over an opinion, which we should all be allowed to have, yet here in this forum, unless one is a sappy sweetie one is attacked. I still think they look like a bunch of chickens and that is funny, and that is my opinion and no amount of attack will change it or should quiet me. you can find it funny, enjoyable etc but I find it silly like chickens dancing. if you put your vids on public display prepare to have all opinions, ones you like and ones you don’t. That is life and it is grown up to accept all opinions, even the ones you don’t like.

I’m not positive it was faked. But if it was, the difference would be this:

If it was a real wedding: Awesome.
If it was a bunch of people pretending to do a funky dance at a fake wedding just to start a meme: Tired.

I’m not a hater. If these are real people at a real wedding, it’s super cool The fact that they can’t dance, even cooler. So I’m not dissing them.

I’m just questioning whether it’s a real wedding or a ‘comedy troupe’ trying to fake people out. And if this is the case, then it has been done before…and done better.

Sorry if you can’t see that.

I’m just sayin’.

Wow. I could only watch about 5 seconds of it, but that’s because I’m tired of the whole “everybody has to love OUR wedding video” attitude. Maybe if people worked more on their marriages than on their wedding videos, we’d have less divorces.

I think it’s great that they had fun. It just seemed a little too precocious for my taste. I hope that doesn’t make me sound bitter – I just don’t care about wedding videos of total strangers.

Thank you, Miss C. This kind of thing should happen every day somewhere in the world. Judging from the styles of clothing, I’m guessing this wasn’t just filmed last month, so I don’t think it’s some sort of flashmob. The whole point of all these people getting together and rehearsing this wedding procession was the joy on the faces of the little old men and women in the wedding audience. this was a loving gesture from the wedding party to their extended families and friends. I loved it.

Hmmmm… devildoggie could you please show me the part in this particular video where THIS particular wedding party shunned gay and lesbian marriages. The fact that America doesn’t accept same-sex marriages is absolutely terrible but don’t use this video as a platform for this. This isn’t an Arian Nation wedding. This isn’t a WE VOTED FOR PROPOSITION 8 wedding. The fact that you attach anti-gay sentiment to a group of middle-class hetero’s just enjoying their special day makes no sense. If we were to agree with your logic why stop at assumptions of homophobia – after all, since there were no Asians or blacks and no one was wearing a yarmulke in the wedding party we might as well brand them as KKK or Nazi’s. At first, I wasn’t going to watch this. As a woman in an 8 year relationship with no marriage day in sight, I’m at the point were the mention of a wedding can bring me to tears. I sort of thought this might be a mockery. Boy was I wrong!
I was in tears of joy before it was over. This truly took something that is usually quite subdued, traditional, and non-celebratory, and bumped it up about a thousand notches. These people were having a ball, and I can’t believe some people are making fun of them. Did you actually watch the whole video? This is what a wedding should be – A celebration of happiness, joy, and LOVE!

I’m amazed at the negative comments here. Sure, these people aren’t the greatest dancers. And maybe they’re “uncool,” whatever that means.

But I guarantee you that they all knew that beforehand. They knew they weren’t great dancers, and they got out there and shook their butts to celebrate their friends’ wedding anyway. And that makes them ten times cooler than most of us, myself included, will ever be.

@ Miss Cellania, This was a good post, all these downers and complainers are the type of people that are never satisfied, they are always just looking for something better or funnier. They can’t even see any entertainment in a clip that only lasts 5 min, while not the funniest thing on the planet it was entertaining. These people probably find someone getting hit in the crotch by a ball, bat, golf club,or something to be the funniest thing..
