I bought “Incredible Journey” on a recent Alaskan cruise. I am very impressed. My questions is what process and equipment do you use to put the picture on the tile. I am fascinated by the the ability to “light up” in the dark.

I saw them during a Labor Day weekend (Labor Day is the first Monday in September here in the US) in ’94 while in Wisconsin (about 40 miles west of Green Bay).

It was a hot weekend, and while taking the time-lapsed photos, I had to seek shelter from the mosquitoes.

Saw them in Scotland (1972) and it’s not that cold there. Must be place you can see them in the northern hemisphere and not have your fingers frozen off.

Technical clarification… but the northern lights are called “aurora borealis” and the southern lights are called “aurora australis”. Although he claims to be Aurora Dude (lights dude), he clarifies that all of his photos are of the aurora borealis.
