Apollo 11 in Pictures

40 years ago today, Apollo 11 lifted off from Cape Canaveral. The Big Picture celebrates with a collection of large images of the mission. This photograph was taken by astronaut Michael Collins as the Eagle approached the Command Modeule to rendezvous for the trip home. Link -via the Presurfer

    except for the astronaut taking that photo, every human alive at the time is within the frame of that photo.

    I don’t see how anyone could try and deny that we ever landed on the moon with ‘evidence’ like this.

    Awesome pictures! Man, it makes me wish I was born back then to watch the moon landing on TV as it was happening.
