Family Uses Pee To Attract Lost Dog

Posted by Jill Harness in Animal, Funny, Odd News on July 10, 2009 at 7:57 pm

A family in Bristol has decided to take an unusual approach to getting their lost dog back -by spraying their urine around their neighborhood. An animal behaviorist gave them the idea.

Of course, my first suggestion might be putting up lost dog posters and checking the local shelter, but I’m no animal behavior expert.

I tried this trick for my lost cat. Used a sports bottle and went out after dark. Did it work? Who knows. But the cat did come back the very next day. :)

I wonder how the neighbors would react to seeing someone spraying urine around the neighborhood.

...so you see I really wasn't exposing myself at all Your Honor. I was just trying to get my lost dog, "Checkers" back. *snif*

Peeing around the neighborhood - I thought that was how you kept Bigfoot away.

This isn't public urination, officer. I'm just trying to find my dog.

I know many people are investing in microchips or GPS technology to help find their dogs...
of course this needs to be done before the pet goes missing..
    good luck!
