Were they in Malaysia or Saudi Arabia. Besides, if she bought tickets for them both on the same flight, wouldn't they have met in the plane when she boarded it after he had boarded? Unless she missed the flight while searching for her husband... A simple check on the airplane would have showed whether he had already boarded it or not.
