Chihuahua vs. Cougar: Guess Who Won ...

Posted by Alex in Animal on June 16, 2009 at 3:06 am

Don’t mess with Chiquita the Chihuahua! The tiny 10-lb dog took on a 100-lb wild cougar who wanted to eat its companion for dinner … and won!

It was 10:30 p.m. and out went Chiquita through the doggie door to investigate as Lindsay opened the blinds. "I rush to the blinds and I flick on the light and I’m trying to see." Pinning poor Rosie to the ground was a 5-foot-long, 100-pound cougar. Rosie was about to become a cougar snack. [...]

As the cougar let out it’s best guttural growl and Lindsay grabbed the phone for help, little Chiquita went to work. With all 1′3" flexed for battle, her 10 pound frame let out it’s best attack dog imitation. Believe it or not, the cougar let little Rosie go.

With yappy mutts like that, ya just know their neighbors were cheering for the cougar.

That cougar found out something I've known for a long time: Chihuahuas are evil.

Dynamite comes in small packages or so the saying goes, very lucky dog indeed, to go up against a cougar.

He'll be back. The cougar's just fetching his buddies so they can watch him flick an annoying yappie dog through a stop-sign by extending his nails. And who can blame him.

But the neighbors of the yippy little dogs were all rooting for the cougar.

"Believe it or not, the cougar let little Rosie go."

With absolutely NO evidence beyond this woman's say-so, no, I don't believe it.
