45 Famous Last Meals

Ryan Deal of Top Cultured has a list of last meals given to condemned criminals, both real and fictional. Here are a few:

Adolf Eichmann: He declined a special meal, preferring a bottle of Carmel, a dry red Israeli wine. He drank about half of it.

John Wayne Gacy: A dozen deep-fried shrimps, a bucket of original recipe chicken from KFC, French fries, and a pound of strawberries.

Timothy McVeigh: Two pints of mint chocolate-chip ice cream.

Marv in Sin City: A “pretty decent” steak and a beer.

What do you plan on asking for?

I like so many foods I cant decide which I would like to be the last I ever tasted. I would probably be executed before I ever made up my mind.

The Eichmann request is just chilling. But for me, I’d have to go with a Big Mac, because whenever the rare time comes around that I do eat one, I want to die shortly thereafter.

Re Gary Gilmore – I thought alcohol was a no-no. The Wiki article on him makes no reference to whiskey being part of his last meal.

This is such a tough one, I love food and to have to just choose one or 2 meals would be very hard indeed, lucky for me desert would not be really on top of my list as I am not huge on sweet things

Barbecued pork ribs. At least three full racks, hold the sides, and a six pack of Coke, plenty of ice. Vanilla ice cream to top it off.

Mine would be grits, cispy Canadian bacon or side-pork(unsmoked bacon), Folgers coffee w/honey, eggs Benedict, Fruit-loops or peaches n cream outmeal w/half n half, Belgium waffles w/Aunt Jemima syrup, and a IHOP chicken Caesar salad w/ garlic bread toasted and I’ll take my time enjoying all this too!
