Seriously, Girls? There is no need to be offended by this. The article links to the Art of Manliness website, that’s why it says “man.” The vast majority of men I know love to feel stronger and bolder and classic. The way we feel when we put on a fine tailored suit, look out at the world, and feel successful. A site like art of manliness is a perfect little retreat a refresher for men. There’s no need to try and take that happiness away because you feel offended. That would just lead to further emasculation, which would only strengthen the cycle already created.

And to Jeff: just chill out, man. We get it, you don’t drink and that makes you better than us. I’ve heard it a million times and it’s never changed my opinion. Oh and btw, many studies have found that people who drink alcohol in moderate amounts have longer lifespans. Sorry, dude. look it up.

Oh come ON neatorama. Just as Lauren mentioned, women also happen to like drinks. Enough with all the “manliness” BS, you have loads of female visitors too, and alcohol is just alcohol. The title really should have been “cocktails Everyone Should Know”. Alcohol and mixing drinks isn’t a gender specific thing (no matter what the “art of manliness” says) or only for men, k?

Cocktails “every man” should know? “Every man who drinks” should be the title. Stereotype alert. Not every man uses drugs such as alcohol because we care about our health and can cope just fine without. How much sense would this make if it were “5 ways to use cocaine” or “5 ways to use weed”?
