Sounds phony.

What type of old lady lives in a dump, has a ratty old mattress, and makes some type of mystery income to hoard away a million bucks.

Was Granny a dope dealer, or a gray hooker, or maybe a fortune teller?

Besides, there’s approx 230 bills to an inch, so assuming Granny was hording 5′s, 10′s, and 20′s there’d be around 120,000 bills or 515 inches or 42 feet of stacked bills. That would be one lumpy mattress indeed.

This sounds EXACTLY like an episode of Spongebob….he and Patrick surprise Mr. Krabs with a new mattress only to find out he had tons of money in it…and they had to go to the junk yard to find it!
