   I don't know how true this is - but I read somewhere that Pikachu - main character on the Pokemon animated series is based on the long-eared jerboa.

    I love how he hops. There has to be some evil quality to counter the cuteness. They'll probably chew your face off at night.

    THAT THING IS SO CUTE!! I find ts like a mix of a mouse and a kangaroo. Either way, such an adorable creature. >.<
