The Hotels in Las Vegas are itself delite to stay on. According to me the best hotel is Las Vegas Hotel.. There is a deal in Planet Hollywood Hotel No Resort Fee Hollywood Hip and rooms from $79 per night.

A lot of people hated the second one of Brad’s trilogy but it’s the one that is actually the closest — in spirit — to the original.

Think about it, Ocean’s 12 was nothing more than the guys getting together on a lark to make a movie, have an awesome vacation in Europe, mug for the camera and allow for some cameos such as Bruce Willis.

Ocean’s 12 was a more fitting tribute to the Rat Pack, though it was probably the weakest of the films according to most. I really enjoy Ocean’s 12 when I view it in this light.

Actually, the shot of Rusty’s shrimp cocktail changing from a cocktail glass to a plate is not meant to be seen. You can’t see it in the original widescreen version, the lower part of the scene is cut off. For the pan and scan TV version, they use a little more of the top and bottom of the film, so the change is apparent. The cameraman was composing for widescreen, not 4:3 pan and scan. Another movie like this is Terminator 2. When Arnold smashes the pay phone to get a quarter, in the TV pan and scan version, you can see the payphone is already smashed before he hits it. You can’t see this in the original widescreen.

Oceans 11 is one of my favourite films. 12 and 13 both fail IMO due to the “here’s something you didn’t see that was pivotal to the whole thing” Agatha Christie BS. Oceans 11 stands without such trickery.

Still want to know the REAL reason Don Cheadle doesn’t have his name in the credits. That reason listed doesn’t jive.

And Basher’s accent isn’t that bad. I’ve heard far worse British accents. Though once again, why couldn’t they just cast a Brit in the role?

Here’s an extra bit of flub trivia for you, which I spotted on one of my many viewings of the movie on TBS, where it seems to run on a loop:

In the scene just before Julia Roberts makes her entrance, in which Brad Pitt is eating shrimp, watch the dish he’s holding. When the edit cuts from a wide shot to a closer shot, it changes from a cocktail glass to a plate (or vice versa, I can’t remember).

Perfectly describes the second one, which sucked so bad. The third one got back to the feel of this first one (nearly) which was just an awesome, watch again flick.

While Ocean’s 12 was the weakest of them, I still love this series. It’s pure escapist cinema, and just a lot of fun to watch again and again. Andy Garcia’s characterization is so perfect, I can’t imagine Michael Douglas doing any better.

Great movie, but the 2nd one sucked. I haven’t even bothered seeing the 3rd yet. I think they lucked out with a lot of the cast replacements like Bernie Mac and Carl Reiner, and that part with Matt Damon pick pocketing on the subway was quite an impressive and memorable scene.
