"Reach for the moon" is easier said than done, so when you hear someone utter this oft-overused phrase, kindly point them out to this ladder by Hong Kong Designer Mike Mak. The "Moon Reach Ladder" inspired by , the Chinese character for moon.

I have a tennis racket with a bent handle. I call it "Artist Thumper" because it inspires me to whack useless designers up side the head with it.

    Ceci n'est pas une ladder.

Too many rungs. If we made the character for "moon" ("yue") into a ladder, it would only have two rungs below the top rung.

So Mr. Mak, you're a multicultural AND an artistic failure.

@TBV it's inspired by the character "moon", not mimicking it.

@Ro, you're right of course. Which is probably why I'm not an artist; too literal. Plus no talent. But at least I'm not pretentious.
