Least Wanted

We’re always looking out for number one – or criminally speaking, those on the most wanted list. But not Mark "Least Wanted" Michaelson. He has spent years collecting tens of thousands of mugshots of "punks, sneaks, mooks and miscreants. Hookers, stooges, grifters and goons" going back to the 1870s. In other words, the least wanted.

I wonder if he’s got mugshots of Henry Earl

The guy on the right must be Harry Dean Stanton’s dad.

Not only is the one on the right Harry Dean Stanton, the one on the left looks like an actor whose name I can’t place right now.

When I saw this pic on the page I assumed it was a clever promo for a new film!

It’s missing from the source code, too. Often when a link’s missing it’s in the source in a mangled form, but not this time.

    Anyway – try this…

I was thinking John Lovitz (http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_IrFTPjDx5Do/SV2DSmOJN4I/AAAAAAAAFWI/LdKBKYx TmAM/s400/cplovitzj-crop.jpg) on the left and Harry Dean Stanton on the right when I first saw the pictures.

So many stories behind all those photos.

Also – it reminds you how powerful black and white photography is.
