Remember the mobile treadmill posted on Neatorama a while ago? Well, Flickr user frankh spotted a DIY version at MIT (where else?). Apparently, it’s what you get when you cross a bicycle with a treadmill – via GadgetLab

    Fail, because a self-powered treadmill needs to be slanted the opposite direction...

    I fail to see the point in this device... what's the purpose? why not just... run?
    And how does it stay upright? looks to me like would topple over.

    mmm... I am a little confuse to see this device..what is the man idea to create this ? is it safe for the user ? ..right..why not just run...?

    It would be interesting to hear the actualy creators words, if he felt this was a method of transportation to help you get excersise, he is an idiot... if he did it just because he can and functions to some degree, it's pretty cool.
