great list, but one more should definitely be included, starring the HOFF in tight pants in outer space, running senselessly around studio planets alongside stella star, bikini-clad interstellar babe, fighting evil count zarth arn and his giant flying fist... hope i didn't give away too much...!?

What a stupid article. A bunch of the movies weren't "bad" to start with. Then they put garbage like Hudson Hawk on there which was just BAD.

And Snakes on a Plane was just terrible except for about one 5 second line from Sam Jackson.

Yeah, not a great article. Far from being universally regarded as a "bad" movie, doesn't Starship Troopers actually have a pretty sizeable cult following? (Also, I think that I would argue that its minimal resemblance to the Heinlein novel is a credit, not a debit.) I enjoyed Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow quite a bit. I didn't know that that was considered a "bad" movie.

I'm not going to argue that it's any kind of neglected masterpiece or anything, but I've never understood all of the hatred toward Waterworld. I can't really see myself ever sitting down and watching the whole thing again, but it's a perfectly acceptable big, dopey action movie. I would probably watch it on an airplane if I had nothing else to do.

Yeah, well...they can't even be bothered to spell "Aykroyd" correctly.

    Solar Babies?
When rollerblading was trendy and hip.

Oh It scrapes past the twenty year mark. Dang. :(

This list is all over the place in terms of "Bad". On viewing the SoAP reference, I was inspired, but including avant garde stuff like the last two, and unknowns like Poultergeist: Night of the Chicken Dead was off the mark.
Agree with most of the list though. Cool World was cool, but I never, ever want to see it again.

Can't Hardly Wait was THE movie the summer before senior year... I refuse to aknowledge anything about it being "bad". I just hear a reference and slip into nostalgia.

I don't pretend it's anything unique, but it captures that perfect time between realizing such a huge experience is behind you yet so much that will define you is ahead... the article's author is either way too old or too young, cause yeah, it's a bit of a product of it's time. =P How dare they not be part of the classes of 1998-2000!

It's missing my favorite, bad movie of all times Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon. Do yourself a favor and watch this movie if you haven't already.

No list like this is complete with the Chuck Norris materpiece, The Octagon. Some of the most painful-to-listen-to dialogue ever written, yet good enough to be really bad.

Give me a break, Point Break? The Long Kiss Goodnight? Captain Sky?

    These movies rocked!

Looks like the author was struggling to find enough filler! Though I agree with a lot of it like Hudson Hawk and those two Costner turkey's, truly dreadful.

I had completely forgotten about Robot Jox until today.

Of course, every list of this type is subjective to the audience compiling it and will not agree entirely with the audience reading it. I'd have put in a vote for Manos: the Hands of Fate myself.

Whoops, forgot the 20 years thing too.

"Stop or My Mom Will Shoot"? That movie should never be on a "Best" list of ANY sort!

I'd have replaced that with Dolph Lundgren's "I Come In Peace"!

I really like Equilbrium. I had written it off as a Matrix-wannabe but its actually very enjoyable.
