Eventhough this is a short story of Joe Strummer, I think I knew him right there and then. This post touch my hear. He was so active in everything about the mother earth, and to know that he was a rocker. I like his views.

One of very few celebrity deaths that have ever made me shed a tear. That documentary mentioned in the last bullet point is fantastic for fans, by the way; definitely worth checking out.

Just a typo suggestion… in the 8th bullet you have the name of the bassist as Paul Simmon and it should be Paul Simonon.

Thank you for the tribute to Joe! I love and miss him very much, not only for his wonderful music but also his political views and the way he embraced global cultures throughout his life and career. His work with the Clash and the Mescaleros is really an amazing legacy. Love ya, Joe!
