I loved all of the movies! Coraline is second best to The Nightmare Before Christmas, I've been watching that movie since I was a kid. I'm 20 now and just saw Coraline, I absolutely love it. Burton and Selick are both amazing. They shouldn't do a sequel, I think it would completely ruin Nightmare. But I am glad to see Jack in other places as well. Burton should make some more short films, Vincent was very lovely.

It is so sad that Selick never gets the recognition he deserves. People no only attribute Nightmare to Burton (which is understandable), but James and the Giant Peach and now Coraline too. There was a wonderful interview in one of the film magazines last month and he still seems a bit bitter over the fact that no one ever acknowledges his contribution....

Corpse Bride had similar plot elements and style, but its completely different from tNBC.

My nieces absolutely LOOOOVE this movie. To the point where their parents bought them the soundtrack to it and listen to it constantly.
I say good though, better that they like this than something like Hannah Montana *barf*

Though not a sequel, the Corpse Bride (2005) is very similar to The Nightmare Before Christmas it could be just like a sequel

Everyone always thinks Burton directed it because his name is in the title - "Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas"

Now everyone thinks Coraline was directed by Burton because it was promoted as being "from the director of The Nightmare Before Christmas" Selick is widely unknown

Im glad Burton talked disney out of a sequel but they will probably do one eventually. They have made crappy sequels of almost all their classics now.

I've had the great fortune to see and ride the "Haunted Mansion Holiday" at Disneyland on two occasions. It's outstanding. EVERYTHING is made up in the style of the film, I could just ride it over and over and there would still be things I wouldn't notice.

This is the only movie I ever walked out of before it finished. I was on a date and we were surprized to learn that it was a musical. I tried to stick it out but she finally convinced me to leave with her. To this day, I have not seen the whole film.

I think it is important to note that Tim Burton did not direct this film and that it is very much a Henry Selick film.

This is my favorite animated movie of all time. Even though I knew a lot of the trivia, there nice tidbits I didn't!

Wait... Frankenweenie wasn't an animation. Also I've seen Jack in James and the Giant Peach as that pirate that was also named Skellington and the top of Beetlejuice's carousel hat.
