I was a child of the 70's and 80's but all of my crushes were from my Mom's generation. When I was was 6 it was John Lennon, I was going to marry him someday. When my mom came home and told me he was dead I was inconsolable. The second big crush I remember was Cat Stevens when I was 10 or so. After that I moved on to the hair bands of the 80's (Duff from Guns n Roses).

My teen crushes were Bobby Sherman (who was WONDERFUL in "Here Comes the Brides"), David McCallum (Man From Uncle) and Davy Jones from the Monkees. Oh, and one other, does anyone remember Leonard Whiting who played in Romeo and Juliet in the late 60's? I had a huge crush on him!

While I grew up in the 90s, my crushes were from the 60s. My dad and I would watch old tapes of Ready Steady Go. I love Ringo and George Harrison and then I always wanted to look like the girls at the show.

I grew up in the '50s and '60s, so these were from my youth. I had the biggest crushes on Peter Noone and Mickey Dolenz (of the Monkees). And David McCallum, who was older, but just as popular if not more so than the ones listed here. I've seen Mickey Dolenz, Peter Noone, and even Davy Jones in concert a number of times in recent years, in Westbury, NY. Peter's done Broadway, too. He's had a very varied career, being both an actor and singer. Mickey got his acting break prior to the Monkees when he starred in Circus Boy and Davy did Broadway before the Monkees, being in the cast of Oliver, the musical based on Oliver Twist. Of the three, Peter does the best show these days, IMO. His sense of humor and sheer energy -- he does impressions! -- know no bounds.

I grew up on Monkee's reruns, and when I was five, I was CONVINCED I was gonna grow up and marry Davy Jones. Nevermind that he was in his 50's at the time!
