I don't own a dog, but all the previous posters seem to indicate that their dogs gack up foreign objects fairly quickly.

This article claims that objects remained in this dog's digestive tract for several years.

How ? Any suggestions ? This sounds like crap to me...no pun intended.

Oi. I work at a doggy daycare center and one of our regulars has a charming habit of vomiting up various articles of clothing. Usually socks, but occasionally underwear. Of course, he immediately replaces it by eating our bedding...

Glad the dog is ok.
One of our dogs eats cloth crap. She'll chew parts off of the doggy toys, and will scarf down socks if she finds them when her stomach is upset... you know, how dogs do w/ grass?
Very gross finding a big wad of gooey mess that used to be one of your socks.
