ThreeStyle: a 3-in-1 Door Worthy of Goldilocks

By Alex in Home & Garden on Apr 4, 2009 at 12:29 am

UK design group Slam has the solution to what can only be called the Goldilocks problem of doors: a door that is not too small and not too big. Behold the ThreeStyle, the world’s first 3-in-1 door.

I do not like doors that confuse me. I would never know which knob to use.

that’s really cute, however I’d have to recommend one addition – a doggy door =)

Does anyone enjoy the sensation of walking through a low doorway? I mean, aren’t doors meant to “fit” by being an extra foot or more past your head?

Tempscire – I don’t find many doors that miss the top of my head by a foot or more.

If I stand on tip-toe in a doorway in this house I can just feel what’s left of my hair brushing against the frame. Most modern houses are the same.

Anyway, we rarely shut any of the internal doors here, except those to truly unruly cupboards.

Bet the two bigger ones warp.

They will warp. They need a bottom piece, whatever it is called, to keep the door from warping.

They forgot a pet door at the bottom it should be four doors.

Which door leads to the bed that’s just right?
