I agree with sadtomato. Kids ALWAYS give substitute teachers a hard time. A teacher calls in sick at the last moment and the school secretary doesn’t know the lessen the sick teacher had planned?! Ohmigosh – chaos! The sub has to wing it – the school system is coming to an end! I thought this was silly and agreed with the findings of the board.

This is old news. And yeah, turning the camera on something an official body might not like is fair play and I’m glad she did it.

Did I read that right? An official body in the U.K. is complaining about surveillance?
I thought they really liked that kind of thing.

I suppose perhaps this is another case of “taking pictures = terrorism”, though, which might explain it…

Cry me a river. This is what substitute teaching is like. Nothing in that video was anything I had not heard or experienced as a teacher on call.

I will admit that this ‘special measures’ policy seems crazy. It can only make things worse at the school, not better.
