The Corkscrew device is a cool machine, but the video suffers from modern editing techniques: quick cuts that obscure detail.

It's not like your trying to cover up bad special effects here, guys !

I'm not usually susceptable to public speakers, but that Aimee Mullins bit damn near made me cry.

"Too pretty to be disabled". God, that's a heartbreaker.

Now there's a woman I'd vote in for President!

"A tightly packed stack of crisp new Cleveland $1,000 bills totaling 1 billion dollars would soar 63 miles high into the earth's atmosphere."

Uh, yeah, if each bill was 4 inches thick. Considering the bills are more like .004 to .005 inches thick the stack would "soar" 330 to 416 feet into the air. Maybe he meant to say "totaling 1 trillion dollars." (I know, I know. I'm nitpicking. I mean really, what's a 999 billion dollar error?)

That corkscrew machine is amazing!
After seeing this, I think I want to design a cupboarddoor-opener like that- filling half the room with machinery just to open a cupboard door... :-D

"It is untrue that Ricky Gervais is a douchebag trading on 15 minutes of fame and has never produced anything vaguely resembling hilarity."

I used to work with Aimee Mullins when I worked at a talent agency. A true class act. Wish I was seeing her doing more parts in mainstream film and television, because she's fab.

I worked at a museum that had a exhibit with a couple of rattlesnakes in it.
When it was time for them to eat, we'd throw a couple of rats in and they'd have at it.
One rat was a tough old bastard and decided to fight. He latched on to the snake and wouldn't let go until we whacked it a good one. Afetr it was stunnde the snake enjoyed it at his leisure.

"Ricky Gervais" and "hilarity" should never be used unless the phrase "is a douchebag trading on 15 minutes of fame and has never produced anything vaguely resembling..." appears between them.

I stopped watching the billion movie when it said that you'd be born in 1959 if you were a billion seconds old. Less than a minute prior it said that if you paid a dollar a second it would take 31 years. So unless this clip was made in 1990, it wouldn't make sense. But it wasn't since our national debt was $9T last summer.

There is no such thing as "a billion dollar". A billion is > 1 (slightly) so you use an s at the end of dollar for "a billion dollars".
