I don't know. Isn't the point of bookshelves that they store books in an efficient way? This seems like form over function, rather than a creative marriage of the two.

would seem that it would be easy for the books to fall out, for it to tip over, to roll away with you in it, etc. not very practical at all, although wedged between two walls it could pose a nice place to snuggle up, however it doesn't look that comfortable for that purpose.
