   really interesting, quite similar to photos i saw of tourists all pretending to be holding the leaning tower of pisa up.

   i wonder what other places tourists all pose in the same way for photos.

   I used to live in an apartment just 5 minutes walk away from Abbey Road. I loved seeing all the folks trying to get their pictures taken at the cross walk and seeing them write their names on the wall of the recording studio.

   Back in 95 I lived at the other end of Abbey Road, right at the corner off West End Lane. I used to walk past the famous corner on an almost daily basis: it was amazing how many "pilgrims" you would see _every_ time.

   I'm so happy that I walked here when I visited London! It was either abbey road or the eye and I'm way happier saying I was there. I also signed the door! I don't care if its touristy, I LOVE THE BEATLESSSSSSSSSSSS!

   Imagine how annoying it would be if your daily commute took you that way.

    i was one of the dorks who did that and i'm not ashamed. looking at this, i'm amazed that there were no accidents. love the guy who moons us all. hahahaha!

    I wonder if some of the locals deliberately avoid that particular intersection because of too many delays caused by tourists.
