Is This Clock Cool or Creepy?

I'm a little torn on how I feel about this clock. It's kind of awesome, but I also think I would probably wet the bed if I woke up in the middle of the night and saw that silhouetted in my dark bedroom. Creepy! It's $9,000, so I don't think I'll have to worry about it showing up in my room any time soon.

I think it's cool. I would like it more if the arms were bendable, so you could position them differently. I wouldn't recommend this clock in a kid's room, though. Silhouettes of the simplest things scared me when I was little.

creepy. that is definitely creepy. it's going to eat that baby in the picture.

also, whatever happened to the "stuff you don't/will never need" (or something of that nature) segment? i miss that.

I wouldn't put this in a kid's bedroom but rather in the living room. This clock would be a nice conversation starter!

@Cordelia - Yeah it also reminded me of the clock from Beauty and the Beast! The clock's "pose" above is reminiscent of the way the movie character Cogsworth was always telling off the naughty Lumiere (the candelabra) or the other characters.

Very, very cool. I absolutely love this guy's work. I have visited his workshop in Vancouver and it was unbelievable. He does wonderful, unique and creative work. He has created pieces for Disney cruise ships and airports and many others. His name is Judson Beaumont and you can see the rest of his work here: http://www.straightlinedesigns.com/
