The Open Doors

Based on the short story The Open Window by Saki (H. H. Munro). A twelve minute film that I think some of you will enjoy. A young nervous man from the city goes to the country to rest but finds things aren't what they appear to be... ;)

Harkens back to the day when young women of "breeding" had nothing to occupy their minds and so resorted to mischief like this. Eventually she'd end up becoming a morphine addict or drunk conducting seances to the amusement of her female peers before dying of cirrhosis or TB. Tsk, tsk.

I liked it even though it was mean spirited. The trouble is that girl was far to clever and creative for her time. Today a girl like that would grow up to be an actress, a film maker or a writer.
