Indoor Tree House In a Kid's Bedroom

Posted by Queuebot in Arts & Crafts, Baby & Kids on February 8, 2009 at 12:48 pm

The workmanship and time put into this kids bedroom creation is astonishing. It’s surely any kids dream room, a great place to hide away and play, even when its wet and cold outside.

The beautifully designed room features a tree house in the corner, a swing and a custom built entertainment armoire with moving Library Ladder. As well as a colourful mural on the walls, it really makes me wish i was young again, although i would imagine the price tag would be way out of my league.

The  custom creation was designed and built by Kidtropolis who also have some other exciting projects on their site.

The designers created a cool and imaginative room for kids to explore, but will they resist the lure of that big, ever-present tv?

it already has a tv. and it's big and expensive looking, hidden in the cupboard

there is a tv in the custom built armoire which totally fits in with the whole huckberry/pooh look of the room... very cool! not sure about the buckets on the wall? but its a cute design and i LOVE all the hidden carpeted storage spots! very cool

    Giant room.
Pretty clean for a kid's room.

Back in the late 70's Sunset magazine had a special "projects for kids" book. And there were some great things much like the "indoor treehouse".
My mother had let us design our own rooms, and she used some of the ideas from that book to create my "solar system" room.

ted, i believe the "kid" hasn't moved in yet... all the storage spaces are empty and it doesn't look "lived in"
