If the weather is freezing where you are, check this out. Throwing boiling water into the air is going to be the new “mentos and diet coke” meme on the Net.

This is pretty much a rite of passage in Fairbanks, Ak. Everyone I know has done it, or at least watched someone else do it.

Looks like a good way to burn the crap out of your face or head

its pretty fun to do and the only way youll burn yourself at that temperature (and it probably wont happen) is because the metal pot you used to boil the water is too cold and youll get a nice bit of frostbite.

Where did you even dig UP this video. I saw it, like 2 years ago.

    Old, old, old.

Old perhaps....but neat none the less.

    Science doesn't become passe.

I do however hope that this does not become the new meme, as it is totally reliant on the temperature being low enough for it to work.

Scalding incidents ahead. Or indeed scalded head incidents.

So just what temperature are we talking about here?

Is 0 Celsius or 32 Fahrenheit cold enough? I won't be trying it any time soon that's for sure.
