I tried going from east to west but kept missing things in the middle. In the end time ran out before I could get Illinois, which was embarassing enough.

The fact I could not spell most of the states I was trying to spell I gave up.

I learned the states through a song called “The Fifty States That Rhyme” in which you listed all of them in alphabetical order to the tune of “Turkey in the Straw”
