Why are the Obama fans acting like the Bush fans were circa 2002-2004? I mean really…

Obama and Bush both promissed before getting elected:
    1. To raise America’s standing in the world.
    2. To have a less interventionist foriegn policy.
    3. To bring prosperity to the nation.
    4. To bring change that was much needed the last 8 years.

Obama and Bush were both supported by:
1.Fans who didn’t know very much about the political situation or friends and associates of the candidates whom they supported.

    2. Adored the President and said that disent against him was unwanted and dangerous.

    3. Said that the country needs to unite and support the president.

Please, Obama is just a politician and is nothing special. He will be the exact same worth that Bush was when he leaves office.

@Lloyd: Everything you said up until the last sentence is supportable. But those statements don’t, just because you can argue them with some effectiveness, make your last statement valid. Logic doesn’t work that way; a+a+a+a does not just equal c just because you say so.
