Nerdbots

Nerdbots are robot sculptures created with found objects. Married couple Nicholas and Angela create Nerdbots by piecing together parts found at their favorite antique and thrift stores.

I wish real robots looked like Nerdbots. The Japanese robots that try to look like humans creep me out.

I love these guys! I make a point every First Friday in Kansas City to take my friends to see the Nerdbots. I even got a cute little pocket protector sticker :) I'm totally geeking out over these guys.

Yeah, because robots are SO original, he's the first guy to EVER think of making them from found objects. God forbid people do something they enjoy and can make a buck at too. Oh wait, he sells his through the American Folk Art Museum in NY, they must be hipper & trendier!

I like the Nerdbots, thx for the post ziggystardust!

Those are adorable. The transistor owl reminded me of "bot" I had made from an old fashioned alarm clock.
