I’m a natural red head and quite beautiful.. I was never really teased when I was younger, just a few lighthearted jokes.. I always dyed my hair though when I was a teenager, I personally hated my red hair.. everybody loved it but me.. Now I’m 22 and I’m finally loving my red hair I’m never going to dye it again.. we r so unique and beautiful

Hmm – I will laugh all the way to the bank. As a redhead in Silicon Valley, I have been able to set myself apart from the rest and have a lucrative sales career. It takes a lot of ignorance to claim that hair color dictates intelligence…Of course, I don’t hand my income over to the queen either – LOL. I wasn’t really made fun of because I have such an outgoing personality, and temper, people didn’t mess with me in that way. Since red hair is a genetic rarity, we dont see as many red heads as we do blonds, brunettes, etc. Unless you are a red head, you don’t understand the bit of magic that you feel being so unique. People strive their whole lives to be unique and special, and I recieved that gift when I was born. Oh….and it’s a proven fact that Red Heads are the best lovers–hands down!! Bring on Kick a Ginger day. I have a feeling there will be alot of bruised and battered Blonds and Brunettes after the day is done!!

Hello, I am a red head,am i find this “Kick and Ginger day” very affensive, i am only 13 and i have gone throw so much hurt and pain since i was about 6. It is just like me saying “kick a blonde day or kick a brown or black day” hair(colour). I have only just started to like my hair colour, but i still get teased but i try to ignore this but it hasn’t worked. I have told my head of year and he kinda sorter it out, but they stopped and now they have started again, but i can remember the day, where i came home and just started to cry my self to sleep! i was so upset!I just people would get a life! Some people are aware of the South Park source and understand it is in context there. However, some people also know that there are some people that take the ‘kick a ginger day’ too seriously in a everyday violent way, particularly in schools.

When you watch South Park, you expect it. You should not watch if you don’t. However, when you read a ‘news’ article about it, you do not expect it.

Some people know ‘ginger kids’ that do been ‘kicked’ for how they look, so they are a bit more aware of what it really means.

My daughter is a red head (recessive genes) and she is the only one in the family with red hair. Since she is now only 7 years old she does not feel self conscious about this yet. We do all we can to let her know just how beautiful she is.

When I see stuff like “Kick a Ginger Day” it really breaks my heart and makes me hate humanity. I also read a blog post once about how ginger children have no souls and it also broke me heart.

Why does there have to be so much hate toward red headed people? In America it might be better than in the UK but they still have an old saying “like a red headed step child” and that’s not nice either.

I really wish people would not promote violence toward red headed people, especially children. There is already so much violence in this world and so many narrow minded people who actually believe this trash. Let’s stop this now.
