isn’t the addition of Madagascan to Lemur a redundancy?

I think that Madagascar is the only place on earth that has Lemurs.

I may be wrong but I thought it was the case.

Adorable to the point that she almost looks unreal. Lemurs are so amazing, and wow what pretty eyes she has.
Only 17 in captivity? How are they doing in the wild? I thought Madagascar was doing pretty well, as far as conservation goes…no?
