The "Quaker Guy" does appear on the front packaging of many Quaker products but the official company logo resides on the side of the package with the company info

Betty Crocker has always looked more like a lady running for mayor or Gongress than a home keeper. The Aunt Jemima character has much more credibility. I would think a Betty Crocker that looks more like the average woman ( a little heavier, and not in business clothes )would be the way to go, but I guess it wasn't product tested with male shoppers.
