UK artist Olly Moss is currently conducting a Guerilla Sloth Propaganda, in which he reworks Shepard Fairey's iconic Obey André the Giant posters. I quite like the smiley sloth! - via Super Punch

People in Providence, RI have been remixing Shepard Fairey's work for 16 YEARS.

His original work - "Andre The Giant has a Posse" has been re-done hundreds of times.

Haven't you ever seen the "Herve Villichez has a Posse" sticker?

Or how about the remixes that ACTUALLY affected the election of Mayor Buddy Cianci back in 1991?

Sorry guys but you need to read the newspapers that ARENT online sometimes too.

I met Fairey during the DNC and thought he was an egotistical a-hole. He is still one of my favs though.

Like stickers said, reworking or imitating Fairey isnt new. I think it is cool because he re-appropriates(rips off) existing work into his own stuff to begin with.
