Japanese cat Tetris iPhone game

I can’t decide whether or not this iPhone game is wonderful or terribly annoying. I *still* love Tetris and I love seeing games that build upon the original Tetris idea. I love to see the iPhone’s accelerometer being used in new applications. At the same time, however, having to listen to somebody else playing the game with its cacophony of cat-noises in a confined space seems like it might be tortuous. Has anyone played this? Any iPhone owners plan on buying the game now that you’ve seen the video? [YouTube]

That’s not like Tetris at all! The point of tetris is to keep the blocks as small as possible. This is about stacking cats, which makes it the anti-Tetris!

Looks like a fun game, actually. How much does it cost. I will download it only if it costs the sweet sweet price of free.

This is WAY better than Topple, I get to torture these cats and don’t feel as bad.

I ran right off to Mew Mew Tower only to find in the comments in the App Store that the accelerometer feature is not working so the pile of cats always collapses to the same side.

If they get around to fixing this, I will buy this game.

In the mean time, Topple is an amazingly sick replacement.
