Orchestral Doogie Howser

By Stacy in Video Clips on Jan 12, 2009 at 10:17 pm

I don’t remember to watch Saturday Night Live very often, but I’m glad I remembered to last weekend because I was completely delighted by this Digital Short of Neil Patrick Harris and the cast jamming out to the Doogie Howser, M.D. theme song. However, I woke up with that song stuck in my head both yesterday morning and this morning. Consider yourself warned.

I was so bummed out that I missed SNL this weekend. Thanks for posting this! :D

Also, I LOVE Dr. Horrible. I strongly agree that you need to check it out. Just search for it, because it has its own website. :)

This was a fantastic SNL short. Possibly the best part of an already solid show (minus the typically unfunny opening skit) with good ol’ NPH bringin’ in the lion’s share of the yuks. Thanks for posting this!

SNL is a great Tivo/DVR show. Waaaay to long to just sit and watch, but to zip through with a DVR, wonderful.

Tired character that they need to retire…boop, gone.

    Crappy musical guest…boop, gone.

    One-note sketch that’s going nowhere…boop, gone.

(years ago) Jimmy Fallon and Horatio Sanz in the same sketch…boop, gone.

This ‘Doogie Howser’ short was a riot.

I usually hate watching SNL (the new ones anyway), but I love NPH, so I gave it a shot and it was hilarious! I loved the broadway musical sketch too. hulu.com is a good resource for sketches since they’re good quality.

Dr Horrible FTW! NPH is incredibly talented–everyone on Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog did their own singing. Great stuff!

I <3 NPH. I’m usually not given to celebrity crushes, but man oh man, I would ‘hit that’.
