    That was just too sweet. Made me cry when they got to the part where the elephant stayed outside the building when the puppy got hurt.

    Moral is:

    The Elephant Stepped on the Dog!!!!!

    ....mm The Elephant weighs 10 tonne and the dog weighs 25kg.. you do the math.

    How does a domestic dog snap a spinal cord without a large weight falling on it..she could of been hit by a large hailstone travelling at velocity I suppose..

    Thank you a dear friend told me this story & I looked it up. These stories should be added to the news to help up have something nice to discuss besides the tragic things going on daily. This was truly UPLIFTING THANKS

    I didn't realize we had an elephant sanctuary in Tennessee - this was just too touching! Made me cry, too. Does the sanctuary allow visitors?
