Ian said in 28 days later they closed of streets where as im sure ive read somewhere, or maybe it was on the film commentary, that because the film budget was so low (it was a British Film Council film), they actually did the same thing Ian did and shot a lot of the scenes in the early hours of the morning in London, where these kind of scenes arent too uncommon even on normal days. if im wrong please feed free to correct me. The City is deserted at weekends - you could walk for half an hour and not see anyone except security behind their plateglass frontages.
