I thought the cartoon was funny because engineers don’t really know the purpose of what they are doing, they just do it. I work with engineers, and see it all the time.

I concur. Mad control groups are important to world domination experiments. Though a double-blind mad study might be difficult to conduct.

The mad engineer is pretty witty, but the handful I read at the site are pretty lame.
